1. Mai in Schöneweide
Neofascist rally of NPD counting 350 people - on the other side about 3000 protesters against them. Blockades didn’t form because of the enormous presence of police. Only a beton pyramide in which four men were locked together in the middle of the street were a beautiful surprise in the morning. Police forces with special equipment from Niedersachsen trained in castor blockades removed the pyramid at 11 am. Then Neonazis marched through Brückenstraße in Berlin-Schöneweide, crossed spree and, turned and went back to Station Schöneweide, which is about 2 kilometres.

About 20 evictions per day in Berlin
After Rosemarie’s tragedy, the officials stopped several planned evictions in the forefront of 1st of may. The homeless asylum “Wärme mit Herz” in Sprengelstraße has a new eviction title for 23. of may, some others are now officially discussed about and even stopped!

Rest in peace, Rosemarie Fliess. The new owner of her flat did not give her a bank contact, so she could not pay her rent. The social welfare office agreed to care for the rent of the elderly lady, that suffered under different diseases and handicaps. Despite doctors’ urgent advice not to evict her, owner and police forced the eviction on tuesday, 9th of April. Two days later she died in the homeless asylum “Wärme mit Herz”, which also has an eviction title for 19th of april…
